Day 7 - Someone/something that has had the biggest influence on you

The biggest? Obviously there are a ton of people/events/self-searching moments that have had a big influence on me. But since none of those events or friendships would have happened the way they have if I hadn't come to this earth under certain circumstances, I would have to say that my parents have had the biggest influence on my life.

This is my mom's favorite wedding photo. I'm rather fond of it myself :) Anyway, it's obvious that everyone's parents have an influence on them, but what I want to point out is that eventually we all have to choose how. I chose to embrace my parents influence. I let them teach me and show me what they believe in, and I have followed the example they have given. They taught me who I am, and set me on the path to live in a way I hope they take joy in. I think it's safe to say that I would never have met any of my best friends or favorite people if it hadn't been for my parents influence somehow. I embraced their love of music. I have always had a great love for BYU, so for me there was no other choice when the time came. I followed their example in beginning an eternal marriage in the temple. When the time comes, I know for a fact that they will influence the kind of parent I am every day. Yeah, that's pretty much everything. I think that counts as the biggest influence.
