Day 10 - Songs you listen to when you are happy, sad, bored, hyped, and mad

I don't always choose my songs based on my mood. And when I do, it's mostly because I'm trying to change my energy level, and it works really well.

Happy - I listen to everything when I'm happy. Taylor Swift, Michael Buble, the Broadway Kids, BYU Choirs, and all kinds of other things that happen to pop up when my playlist is on random.

Sad - hmmm... well sometimes sad means I'm being nostolgic and listening to Womens Chorus or Singers. I choose the beautiful deep harmonic songs that I can almost taste because they are so full of substance. That kind of music is especially good for my soul anytime. It has a special power to heal my broken heart. I also have been known to listen to all 3 1/2 hours of Les Mis when I'm sad, because I know at least those characters are more miserable than I'll ever be. And I think it's beautiful.

Bored - I pretty much try to listen to anything upbeat when I'm bored. Same as when I'm washing the dishes, or folding laundry. Kelly Clarkson is one I don't necessarily listen to when I'm happy (sometimes) but she's at the top of the list when I'm doing chores.

Hyped - Broadway Kids is one that never ever ceases to make me hyped, no matter what. But pretty much I listen to the same things as when I'm happy, which could be anything.

Mad - I don't listen to music when I'm mad, unless you count what I said with bored... when I'm doing chores and I really don't want to. So... Kelly Clarkson. Actually, I don't get mad very often.

  1. Hi Meagan :) Just wanted to say that I'm pretty sure I know your friend Kristen Stout. We were in 4-6th grade together. I always wondered what happened to her, and saw her name in your blog list. Small word, right?
I know that has nothing to do with your post, but I liked that, too.
    Love ya! -Stacy
