San Diego

I know I missed a couple days, but I'm on vacation! I'm thankful for San Diego. It seems like a pretty happening place. Definitely fun for vacationing. It's kind of cold, which we were not quite prepared for, but other than that we're having a blast! I did get to go to the beach this morning, but it was cold. I'm pretty sure the water was warmer than the air. Yesterday we went to Balboa Park with the McBrides and Stephen and Jenny took turns with cameras taking pictures of the other couple. We got some really nice ones. I'm a fan of traveling with photographers. We had some great Mexican food outside in Old Town last night before it started raining. Also, as we were driving into the temple yesterday, I saw some sister missionaries, and one of them was my friend Rachel! We went to the Mormon Battalion visitor's center later, and she was able to give us the tour. So fun.

In other news, I'm also thankful for oatmeal cake. Which I'm making right now. A little late birthday dessert to share :) MMMMMMMmmm.
