Summer theme

Look I blogged two days in a row!

I decided to switch my blog theme from spring to summer, on account of it being over 100 degrees outside for 5 days in a row. Summer has arrived, and no denying it now! Plus, our ward is having an outdoor ice cream social at the park tomorrow. What is more summery than that?

The picture on display is the most summery one I have of Stephen and I. Grandpa took it on his boat while Stephen was visiting last summer. Seeing as the picture was taken with Grandpa's camera, I'm lucky to have it. I think I must have stolen it from Grandma's laptop when she came to ask me to help her figure out facebook. Anyway, it was a longtime dream of mine to bring my boyfriend out on the boat. And the experience was indeed everything it was cracked up to be. Grandma called him my fiance twice that day, but she wasn't far off. We got engaged 3 days later.

This summer, I'm missing the beach, and I'm missing my pool. I hope that soon Stephen and I will get to go to the pool, and that eventually he will take me to the red sand beach on the reservoir. That's about as beachy as it gets here in the desert :)
