Waiting for Summer

Summer doesn't last very long in this part of Utah, but we sure spend a lot of time wishing it were here already. I honestly can't believe it's already June. That makes a whole month that we've been here in our new home. And you know, so far the constant hand washing of dishes and the weekly trips to the laundromat haven't been so bad. I think maybe we could stay here for a while. Which is a relief because you know how I feel about moving. Lots of good things are happening here. Stephen has a job to last the summer, which we expect will pay his summer tuition, and lead to many others. I'm still looking, but hopeful. I finally found a job at BYU that I could apply for, so I did. I just have to take my office skills tests and send in the scores. That is what I really would love. But so would lots of other girls in my situation.

So here's my summer countdown:

12 Days til I fly to Maryland!
14 Days til Amelia and Max get married!
15 Days til the BEACH with the other Amelia!
18 Days til Stephen starts school!
21 Days til Becca gets home!

I'm also waiting for these dang starlings above the windows in both bedrooms to learn to fly so they don't live in my roof anymore. Unfortunately I just noticed the second nest yesterday, which means it's probably new. I bet the babies haven't even hatched yet. They are sooooooo loud.
