All wrapped up

Just a quick post to report on quite possibly the best $20 I ever spent.

For a while I have been wanting one of those super long stretchy baby wraps. I think the Moby is the most popular, but it's about $50, so I really couldn't justify getting one. I went to the fabric store a couple of times to see if I could find something, but I couldn't find the kind of material I needed for less than $10/yd. This needs at least 4 yards. But yesterday I decided on a whim to check out the magical place they call Hobby Lobby. Lets just say it's a good thing I haven't discovered it's amazingness before now. I wasn't expecting them to have fabrics, but they did. Their knits were $6.99/yd, and they were also 30% off. They didn't have a big selection, but that didn't matter to me. I bought 4 yards of the plain gray, which came to $20.99. Since it was much wider than I needed it to be, I cut the fabric in half. So I have two 12 foot by 3 foot strips. One for me, and one for a present. And no sewing required.

Today Hannah and I took a nice long walk. She seemed to be happy and comfortable, and even fell asleep for half an hour or so. And I was comfortable too. Later tonight I used it again when we stood in line for an hour to get our chick-fil-a at the mall. And she fell asleep again :)

Oh the possibilities. I can't wait to experiment more.
