Seeing Pink!

In honor of the New Year, in which my baby girl will make her debut, I have decorated my blog in pink! I wouldn't usually choose pink to decorate. Not that I don't like it, but it seems kind of cliche. And I know my little girl is going to get plenty of pink in her life, so I'd rather be the one to give her some variety. More likely, I won't be able to help myself.

I haven't bought a single thing for Hannah yet. I don't even know where to start. I'd like to start with the big things, like a bed and a carseat and a stroller. But where would I put them until she comes? And I'm afraid to go shopping for clothes because I know I would just come home with a bunch of adorable little Sunday dresses. I LOVE baby dresses. And there are so many things I'm going to need that I haven't even thought of yet.

Our Christmas vacation was fun. I was so happy to bring Stephen home with me. All of my dad's family were "home" for Christmas, which is a rare occurrence these days. It was great to spend time with my parents and grandparents, and I even brought home some family history treasures.

As far as a baby update, I'm at 25 1/2 weeks. My due date is exactly 100 days from tomorrow! Holy cow. It was something like 240 when I started counting, and that seemed like forever. It still seems far away, but it sure doesn't look far away on the calendar. Hannah probably weighs about 1.5 lbs, and she's about 13 inches long. 13! It's still hard to believe something that big is inside me. My baby bump is coming along nicely, so maybe there will be pictures soon.

I'm still doing pretty well. I've had some problems with feeling dizzy and lightheaded. I even passed out once, which freaked out my husband but I convinced him that the ER couldn't do anything for me while I was awake so he should just call my doctor. Dr. Judd said it was pretty normal during this time in pregnancy for women to have issues with circulation, especially when they've spent a lot of time on planes and in cars. He said I should just get up and walk around a little every 5-10 minutes to help my circulation get back to normal. It's funny that standing and walking helps me not to feel lightheaded, but it does. In talking with my co-workers, it's interesting how different pregnancy is for each individual.
