A New Blog

So, I know I had a blog before, but I haven't written in it for months. The technical reason that I created a new one is that I changed my email address to gmail, and since my other blog was on my yahoo address it signed me out of my email every time I signed onto blogger, and vice versa. It was annoying me. So now I'm back, and I'll try to do better.

The title for my blog, A Joyful Song, can be found in a number of places, but I took it from a song I performed with the BYU Women's chorus last year, Awake My Heart to Sing. The words are from this phrase:

Hush no more sweet melody
That stirs within my soul
For if just one voice keeps silent
The world may never hear a joyful song.

I may put the rest of the words to that song in a future post, just because I love it so much. This was the first song I ever got to sing with the women's chorus, and it really meant a lot to me. I had waited years for the opportunity to sing in that amazing choir, and it was truly a blessing when my joyful song could finally be joined with my sisters there. My experience during those two years was better than I could have ever asked for, and I miss it dearly!

So now my joyful song is raised to tell of the things happening in my life, and the many many blessings I am given every day. I'm getting married in October, so I'll share some things about wedding plans, and I'll even do a post that tells the story of Meagan and Stephen. I'll write about the little things that brighten each day. That's what A Joyful Song is all about.
